JUNE 30, 2010 at THE QUIRINO GRANDSTAND Noynoy Aquino or P-Noy's inauguration was held. It was a rainy morning for that significant day, and when i was watching the inaugural process, i thought the rain would pour harder. But to my amusement, the rain suddenly stopped just in time for P-Noy's formal inauguration. For that instance, it only proves that God was with the whole country in celebrating our new phase of development.
I really don't know why, but i can't stop myself to be so much amazed with how the people accepted P-Noy. Even though they have no permanent and descent seats, even though they were just standing, even though they were surely having a hard time peeping for a good view, and plenty other more even though's, their heart had still managed to triumph over natural obstacles. I was just 5 or 4 when PGMA had took the oath of her presidency and i am not so sure if the atmosphere was the same with Noynoy's. I am completely overwhelmed with hope and pride when Noynoy had started to took his oath, i don't know why but there was a part of me saying: Eto na to. This is it.
Indeed, Gibo's speech during our press conference on Nueva Ecija was really greater and it sounds more brilliant than Noynoy's. But for the effect on the people, yung kay Noynoy iba eh, tumatagos, sumasapul. No doubt, Noynoy has this great mass appeal.
Here are some of the most memorable lines brought to us by no other than our president:
* Kayo ang boss ko, kaya hindi pwedeng hindi ko kayo susundin.
* Eto na po ang umpisa ng aking kalbaryo. Kami ay narito para magsilbe, hindi para maghari.
* Ipinapangako ko, hindi ako maakit sa kaban ng bayan.
* Sa mga nang-api sa akin, kaya ko kayong patawarin, at pinapatawad ko na kayo. Sa mga nang-api sa sambayanan, wala akong karapatan na limutin ang inyong mga kasalanan.

Who can deny the fact that Noynoy's inauguration was the most colorful and start studded? Charice Pempengco, Regine Velasquez,Ogie Alcasid, Christian Bautista, Noel Cabangon and plenty other more world class musicians had sang their emotions for the proclamation of the new president.
After the inauguration proper, they have conducted a concert/ street party for everyone. For that moment alone, Noynoy had successfully unite two big clashing parties, ABS-CBN and GMA. The best of the ASAP XV and Party Pilipinas were dancing and singing together! Say what?!
But then again, it is not the ceremony, the inauguration or what so ever that truly matters. It is how one man, Noynoy Aquino, can handle the 7,107 islands of the Philippines for six years and propagate unity and make this country worthy of bragging and of course, living.
